Day 6: Slash Chat
This is for alisanne, eeyore9990, sassy_cissa, and unbroken_halo (who've been there from the beginning), and everyone who's ever spent time with us. I want to let you all know how much the chats and all the word wars have meant to me over the last few (is it almost three now??) years. I was initially ecstatic to find a group of like-minded, slash-inclined geeks with whom I could talk on a regular basis, OMG! It was amazing how physical distance never seemed to matter and I felt like you all were right there in the room with me at times. Giving and receiving so much feedback and encouragement helped my writing to improve more than I can possibly comprehend. It's been great watching all of us change and grow as writers and artists.

Haha! Okay, so almost three years ago, a couple of us started talking about setting up a fandom chat session on Y!M. So we did, and we liked it, and it quickly became a regular thing. A lot of different people have wandered in and out since then, some of them folks who aren't in fandom anymore. ::sniff:: It's been a good forum for us writer/artists to get support and feedback, and to get stuff done.

	Ooh, how would I get there, if I may ask that is? I'm a newbie to Yahoo!'s IM thingy and am really clueless, but it would be neat to join other Snarry fans in chat again. 	I keep hoping to find the slash chat going on whenever I log onto Trillian, because it's just sounded like SUCH fun when Eey told me about it. Alas, my luck has not been stellar, but I'm still really glad you've got such a resource as this in your arsenal of Good Stuff for your Life. (Reply to this) (Thread)

*blushes* That may be because I always appear as offline (to avoid "Come see my XXX porn vid!"... and my ping-happy family) and I'm the least observant person EVER.

I will make a point of watching out for you to come online now, though! We will snag you for chat one day soon, yes we will! And then we will never let you escape... bwahahahahaha. *does the evil!person hand-rub*

Yes, what Eey said. I'm on Y!M a sickeningly large percentage of the time, but am usually invisible in order to avoid "hi cutie what r u doing?" (unless I'm in the mood to play with my prey before I kill it viciously). If you're looking for a slash chat, we can definitely hook you up. We're all doing a lot of writing (and bitching about writing) at the moment, what with fest deadlines and all.
