Why I Love Daily Deviant
Aside from the fact that it's loaded with great work from great people, that is!

It probably goes without saying, but all of the fic and art I'm about to link are adult/NWS.

Exhibit A:

The alternate pairing this month was Romilda Vane/Angelina Johnson. Both twilightsorcery and thilia did art for the pairing, but their pieces are incredibly different from each other.

She uses very warm colors in this piece, and there's a quiet, joyous glow about the scene.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by thilia
This one is much darker and cooler, and feels very private and erotic.

Exhibit B:

One of the themes this month was "sperm banks," which we left open to interpretation. Four people have used the theme so far, and all have taken very different approaches to it.

She takes more of a fertility story approach here, with this providing the backstory and setup for the action.
Muggles Are Geniuses (Fred/George) by eeyore9990
Eey uses the most literal interpretation of the theme, providing some Fred 'N' George smutty hilarity.

Fab art in which the theme turns to a bit of a semen kink.

I went with a semen kink and tied a bit of symbolism into it.

Exhibit C:

Our members are brilliant! Another one of the themes this month was "hyphephilia," which is arousal by touching fabrics or garments. la_dissonance wrote Ladies in Waiting, a story about Madam Malkin!! How perfect is that?!

Exhibit D:

We have a ton of completely awesome new members. You can now find stuff on the comm (or will soon) by doveypoo, entrenous88, gatewaygirl, hollyboo2001, ldymusyc, madeyemax, mindabbles, thilia, unbroken_halo, woldy, and zephre!

And of course, we have lots of wonderful veteran authors and artists who've been with us for ages!
